9 Simple Ways to Save Money on Asthma Medications
asthma, medications, fragrances
Protect Your Lungs: Don't take meds to tolerate a sick environment.
  1. Do not buy or use air freshners.
  2. Do not buy or use products with fragrances, especially synthetic scents.
  3. Do not buy or burn scented candles.
  4. Do not buy or use aerosol and strong smelling cleaning products.
  5. Do not buy or use insecticides or herbicides.
  6. Avoid dust and fumes from renovation or maintenance activities.
  7. Do not tolerate classrooms, offices or public buildings where there is poor ventilation, bad smells, and poor sanitation.
  8. Pay attention to early “safety signals” that warn you that there is “something in the air.” Don't take medication to tolerate an unhealthy environment.  Speak up and get out.
  9. Learn to protect your lungs from irritants, allergens and chemical hazards.
